Dr. Barnes & his staff are wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about them. They truly care about every animal that comes in their doors. Dr. Barnes is straight forward about what he feels is best for your pet based on his years of experience & his understanding of the love you have for your pet they love animals & puts them first! His office is more like a pediatrician's office; they understand our pets are family. Dr. Barnes has gotten on the floor with my dog to examine him; he has helped me over the phone with suggestions on behavioral issues. He saw my cat in an emergency situation saving him. My dog was stolen & was brought to his office to be chipped Dr. Barnes & his staff acted quickly & cared about my dog as if he was each one of theirs. Dr. Barnes may of lost a customer because he choose to do what was right (getting my dog home to us) I believe they were almost as happy to have him returned as we are. His care is top notch, his ethics are the highest, and he expects the same from his staff. His pricing is extremely fair & I have never been charged for unnecessary services or pushed into any services. 10 STARS!

Dr Barnes is the best veterinarian I have ever met. My parents took our pets to him when I was a kid and I came back to him as an adult with my own pets. He is so patient and knowledgeable and really shows you how much he cares about every animal. I never have questions when I leave because he has already explained everything completely. I know my dog is always receiving the best care possible and the prices are totally reasonable.

Dr Barnes spent a lot of time with us at Jets first appointment. He has a lot of prescription needs and he was very thorough writing them down and conversing about his history. He spoke to him very sweetly and made him feel at ease.

Dr. Barnes and his staff are wonderful, compassionate and caring. If you're looking for a vet, you can't go wrong with Dr. Barnes. He took care of my Daisy for sixteen and a half years with humor, wisdom and knowledge. I couldn't have done it without him and his staff who went the extra mile. When it was time for me to make end of life decisions, he was there. She had her first puppy check up in his office and she passed there - peacefully and in my arms. Thank you with all my heart, Dr. Barnes!

We have been seeing Dr. Rooks at Barnes Vet for years. A recent experience prompted me to write a review. One of our dogs has severe fear and anxiety at the vet. She recently broke a nail, and was clearly in pain. I called Dr. Rooks, who knows our dog really well and the challenges she experiences at vet visits. She got us in same day, and the level of care and comfort she provided our dog was incredible. Because of her care our dog was feeling better immediately. This is consistently the case - she and her team always show compassion towards our dog - which when you have a dog who has challenges at the vet is so appreciated. I cannot recommend Dr. Rooks enough!

Amazing staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Barnes was extremely friendly and is very passionate about what he does. He offered great advice and explained everything in an easy to understand manner. He even discussed a step by step to ensure the best care without breaking the bank. Highly recommend.

My family has been going to see Dr. Barnes since the 1980s. His kind hand and courtesy have never wavered. He's seen 5 of our family dogs, and now I take my two dogs and cat to see him. If only he could work forever!
